Meet the Founder

Jack began his career in communications at an agency during the London Olympics in 2012, developing a strong foundation in copywriting, media relations, stakeholder and account management.

In 2017, he joined Canon UK as B2B PR and social specialist, where he quickly helped elevate the brand’s profile across national media, trade press and industry events. His role soon expanded into Canon’s consumer division, combining his professional expertise with a growing passion for photography and consumer technology.

During this period, Jack worked on major product launches and high-profile campaigns, including Canon’s most significant launch in decades - the introduction of the EOS R mirrorless system.

His leadership at critical moments led to a move into Canon Europe, taking on an EMEA-wide role overseeing communications across more than 100 markets. Operating at this scale brought a new level of strategic complexity, supporting a business with annual revenues of over £5 billion.

Since 2019, Jack has build and led Canon’s consumer and corporate communications division, spanning public relations, social and influence. He also spearheaded flagship initiatives including the development of the Canon Creator Network.

In 2026, after almost a decade at Canon, Jack founded Eighty-nine - bringing together deep in-house experience, agency craft, and a clear belief in communications that build reputation, influence and long-term value.

(Eight-nine is a reference to the year he was born.)
